Book and Book Tour Updates

Hi everyone!

I know I’ve been doing a bunch of writing lately and part of that was to make sure I made up for last week. One of my co-workers got fired for stealing cartons of cigarettes. Surprisingly, instead of being some giant blow against capitalism it instead makes us have to do inventory checks during the end of our shifts which only adds more work and makes us more stressed. On top of that I chose to pick up some of my former co-workers hours that they now didn’t have.

See how much stealing really helps out the working class?

Anyways, I’m not here to dwell on that. Just to make a note that last week really sucked in terms of work and it kept me away from being able to write as much as I wanted. So in an effort to make up for that I decided to write three posts in a row and then this blog update to make up for the radio silence (so to speak).

I aim to have a similar output once I finish my job (for now) on Monday which means Sunday and Monday will be busy.

However, starting next Saturday my input in this site will become either a lot more sporadic or surprisingly more consistent. On one hand I’m considering giving all of my attention to my book tour with sporadic posts updating y’all on my tour and how it’s going as well as posting pieces that didn’t make it into the book. The other option would for me to write a daily journal entry about what happens during my tour with special updates and unpublished pieces from my book.

Regardless of what I do, I’m going to do my best to keep this site updated.

Of course, I can’t promise anything but know that I’ll do my best.

As of right now here’s my rough itinerary for book shows:

From there I haven’t decided what I’m going to do.

I might go up to visit some friends in Kentucky and Indiana just for fun. After which I may go to Ohio for either business or pleasure (i.e. friends) or both. I’m planning to be back in Manchester before October 28th at which point I’ll likely stay for a few days and potentially got to Montreal or some other part of Canada as part of my tour (I’ve never been!).

A special note to my wonderful patrons on Patreon who have been supporting me for many months now. I am planning on using the funds I have gotten from y’all (almost $300 at this point!) to fund most of my travel expenses. If I’m going to a given state for friends or even just mostly friends I’ll likely put it on my personal tab. But I’m visiting a state particularly for a book event (i.e. all of the places up there) then I’ll put the tab on my Paypal which has my Patreon funds.

Lastly, in just one week y’all can purchase my book on Little Black Cart’s website, I’m so excited!

I hope to see y’all on my book tour! If you wanna meet up try to reach me by Facebook, by commenting below or you can always reach me by email at voyagingman2010@yahoo.com.

If you are a venue / space in a state you think I am going to be near / might be interested to go to and want to host my event, let me know! I can’t promise I can go to many more places but if you think you’ll be on the way we’ll see if we can work anything out.

As always, happy slacking!
