Hey everyone, I was gonna post something different today but I figure the renewal of the domain server is slightly more important than something I can easily just post tomorrow.

The next payment for Abolish Work’s domain renewal is due on the 23rd of this week. I only need 15 dollars (and some loose change to the tune of 17 cents but that’s not as important).

To give you an idea of how little each of the people who follow this blog on WordPress would need to contribute:

If just a fourth of you guys (15 of you) gave me one dollar then I’d be all set!

I know that 15 dollars doesn’t sound like a lot but for me it’s a big help to knock down these small costs so I don’t have to bear any accumulative effects. I’m not exactly rich and having donations from you guys would really go a long way to keeping this site up and running.

In addition, if I reach over fifteen dollars then I will ask the remaining people whose money is left if I can use it to buy anti-work related books/articles/etc. that I would review on this site. This way you guys get something for your money and hopefully don’t feel ripped off.

None of the funds for this particular donation drive will go to me personally unless I have the explicit permission of the particular person who donated. Otherwise, this is all for the benefit of the site and you guys.

I am thinking of having a Paypal button more generally on the site for general donations to help keep my writing going and maybe I’d use some of that to help support me and not just the site. But I haven’t decided yet.
