Greetings dear viewers, friends, fellow workers and assorted slackers all!

For the month of January 2016:

• I posted 11 times
• 9 of which were original articles
• Wrote over 10,000 words (not including lazy posts)
• Promoted to my usual subReddits but also got some great traffic from r/Philosophy recently (thanks!)
• Nearly 4000 views in total (the month before we had 4,002 views!)
• The site averaged 900 views per week
• The site also got sizable boosts from the Facebook pages, Abolishing work is essential for the project of human freedom,1,000,000 Strong Against Work and I Acknowledge The Destructive Nature of Capitalism which helped me attain nearly 400 views in one day
• Most referrers to the site have been Reddit (777), search engines (619), Facebook (317) and Twitter (82), note that this includes the first few days or so of February up to today (2/5/16)
• The site has had minimal downturns in viewership (a dip of a little over 20% to start off the month but then spiked back up a whopping 70% to then only go down 5, raise 26 and most recently fall 7%, respectively)
• In 2016 so far the site has averaged over 100 views per day
• Most astonishingly in only one month the site has almost a fourth of the total of views this site had in 2015 (4,569 and 13,967 respectively)

As y’all can see I’m getting a little better at this.

Whether it’s not apologizing if posts take me a while to do, or getting better with cross-promotion over various social media, interacting with fans and critics of the site, I am getting better at this shit.

And god, if that doesn’t mean everything to me.

Another nice tidbit is that the Abolish Work Facebook received it’s first message - from someone in France no less!

Sometimes I am a bit American centric and I woefully forget that my readership spans the globe. So I just want to take this time to briefly thank everyone who decides to spend their seconds, minutes and even hours looking at this site. I can’t say I wouldn’t keep going if y’all weren’t here, but damn if it doesn’t help like a motherfucker.

I’m also, obviously, getting a bit better at tapping into the statistics that WP gives me. So from now on I’ll try to tackle some of these deeper statistics than just what y’all see on the front! Exciting!

Besides my Abolish Work articles, I also write for the Center for a Stateless Society and help with their Youtube channel.

Here’s what I got done for them for the month of January 2016:

• That’s three op-eds and a feature
• I also helped upload four videos with picture accompaniment on Feed 44. Specifically The State and Personal Freedom series which was based on a chapter from Gary Chartier’s Conscience of an Anarchist.
• I helped edit a few articles here and there and fill in for when the other editors were busy with their usual jobs

So all of the above + what I did for Abolish Work for only $25 a month!

Can you imagine what I could do if I got more?

Abolish Work Podcast! - $50 per month

At this level I’d be able to work on a monthly podcast about anti-work! This would likely be an hour segment made up of interviews with other people who are critical of work. But it also may contain personal musings on work or just reflecting on some current events from an anti-work perspective.

If y’all heard my verbal stunts on the Srsly Wrong podcast with the seriously kind folks there then y’all know full well I’ve got the chops to do this. I just need the support both financially and otherwise to make it happen!

Right now I have the basics to make a podcast happen but I’d really rather prefer to:

1. Give you the best podcast I can (which means better equipment, which means I need more money)
2. Be able to clear up more space for a monthly podcast (this would require a bigger financial incentive for me)

There are other factors too and eventually I’ll get a podcast up and running anyways. But that process will be quickened with your financial support!

Now, thanks to generous donations to C4SS, my paycheck was a little better this month. But it’s still getting eaten up by travel, some special occasions and personal matters.
