Hate to say this but I think the writing on the wall (who graffiti-ed my wall?!) has been here for a while.
I simply view reading each chapter as a chore and don’t enjoy taking notes. Mostly because the book isn’t as relevant to anti-work as I thought or was led to believe by the person who recommended it to me. I still enjoyed bits and pieces but I probably would have enjoyed it even more if I had done a cumulative review instead of a chapter by chapter review.
The good news is that in the future the books I read will specifically have to do with work and won’t be such edge cases, or at least I’ll try to minimize the extent to which that happens.
I hope y’all enjoyed the series and do recommend the book, just maybe not in terms of anti-work.

Cool. Could tell you were sick of it 🙂 you’re last post sounded happier than some recent ones, hope things are picking up in your world.
It’s a little better in some ways, thanks for thinking of me Hugh. 🙂
Article I’m reading on libcom by kathi weeks you might wanna check out. First line is very quotable. ‘Why do we work so long… ‘ I’ll let you read the rest.
What’s the article called?
